Isn't this the most beautiful place for a Walmart? Sure beats Little Creeks views right Va folk? Its this big beautiful farm on the hill above the big dog of value shopping. I bet the owners were ticked when they broke ground a few years back. I'd've been. Is I'd've a word? sure.

And speaking of trips to the W. Its 20 miles away so this is how we get a quick nap in. If I time it right, just long enough so they still go to bed early. Nice. Since we still don't have a truck yet, [I HATE shopping for vehicles] we took out the middle seats in the van to have more room for large purchases to fit and the kids do love it so. They could sit back there and listen to Lady Gaga {good album btw} and eat chicken nuggets all day I bet, in fact I know, Leah told me this just today.

Meet Violet Tigress Melessa. We picked this little cupcake up the other day from a lady down the street. She is a great kitty and is hauled around all day with no clawing/meowing/biting just as depicted in the picture....and in purses-blankets-baskets-bowls-you name it. Awww cute.

Alright fine. Here is the mess of a living room. And you know what? Its still looks exactly like that. Ive have no desire to unpack the decor and put it up. (Although I did find those frames on the wall in the basement, then spray painted them :) I'm up to my ears in wallpaper removal messes {damn that stuff!} and up next is painting. I
reallllly dont want to do it myself. Please someone come to the rescue. Do you see the kitchen? Oh crap. Its FULL of sticky paper. What have I gotten myself into....? But what about the red wall? To keep it or not....

And just because I love this little wrecking ball SO much. She really is what I say she is....an adorable, soy milk drinking wrecking ball. Try adding that to wallpaper scraps, kitty litter and a leaking toilet. FUN.

I like the red wall! I feel your pain on the wallpaper, we had to scrape a lot of it when we moved into our condo. Never again.
Violet is cute!
Seriously? Leaky toilet too? Dang -- you have too much on your plate! I love the red wall though. ;) it's Sassy. I got the "you're healing great" today from the doc, so I'm *that* much closer to driving down there again and will willingly help paint!
That video is so cute. :) I like the red wall. 3 sleeping kids pic: adorable. And I'm SO sorry about the wall paper removal issue. I know personally that it is probably the biggest pain in the (^&*) of all time. Ever. And ever.
So you've got a wrecking ball to, eh? Julia is mine. Golly - don't know what I'll do with that girl! I don't think the red wall looks bad, but I would trust your taste more than mine. Gorgeous views by the way!! Wish I could come out and help with the "tearing down".
I love the red wall, keep it, the wall paper sounds like a bigger issue than that darling red wall.
Wow, what a lot of work! Good luck!
I like the red wall...but I can't say I love the brown trim around it. We have a red wall in our kitchen and always get tons of compliments on it! Keep it, people love it...Plus you have plenty of other projects to keep you busy!
I also like the red wall.
Good luck with everything you have ahead of you. It'll be fun when everything starts to come together like you want it to. I grew up in old houses like that and it seemed like projects never ended. What we've learned remodeling ours is to do one room at a time, totally finish it before you move on to the next!
Im not a fan of red on walls but Christin is right...bigger fish to fry than that.
Holly...our whole house is covered in brown trim. One of the reasons I liked it so much :)
we miss you guys! Colin keeps asking about Asher....
And when I drove past your house the other day, I couldn't even look.
pic of them sleeping...priceless!!! love it!
wow small town life it is! congrats on the new house! i like the red wall personally. your baby looks like she is turning into a toehead! cute!
No, no to the red wall. Why OH WHY do so many people love red walls? All it does is close in a space. Every single house we looked at had a red wall including the one we bought. And oh how it is no longer red. If you have more important projects then leave it if you must. ;) You get me right?
I love your new cat. I can't wait to get one!!
Adorable video. She is so freakin cute I don't know how you can stand it.
Normally I am not a fan of red, but it looks good. That kitchen paper-- what a headache. At least you have flooring. Eli ripped our kitchen floor up before we even moved in. I have decided patience is a necessary virtue with home ownership
I don't like Red Walls either. They seem angry to me. haha. My husband LOVES Red Walls and I am always telling him we need to keep things neutral and accessorize. I can see the Wallpaper. Man, you weren't exaggerating. Good luck with all of that! Your baby is so cute! I love her little laugh.
well i think i would take that house over mine...oh wait. i got nada. listen buy me aj and bry a ticket for this weekend please! and well come hizang and play wis maya
love kimi
I go back and forth on the red wall. But, I agree... I would probably worry about it later!
Hey, your kids are the cutest, thanks for the pics of your house...it's super cute, love the red wall!
I wanna come help you paint. Although I don't know that adding my 2 kids to the mix would help much. I've helped someone with wallpaper removal once. It really was a nightmare. Good luck. Moving is so overwhelming, but you'll get there. Oh, I really like your spray painted frames on the wall.
if "i'd've" isn't a word then i'm not sure the english language is complete.
love the house. it's looking great.
totally understand the whole old house = crappy walls feeling. good luck with everything! (My address is baxta66@hotmail.com when you go private)
Cute!!! Cute house, cute kids, cute Jaesi. We miss you. And now that you're gone, nobody wants to stay here. Everybody is moving. Everybody... except us!
Good luck on all that work! I like the red wall.
Ooooh - I want to snuggle Maya up and tickle her! She's so cute! Violet Tiger Kitty looks pretty cute too! By the way, it looks like your living area is put together nicely! Also, when you are tearing off wallpaper, take some comfort in knowing that it wasn't you that put the nasty stuff up - a mistake I made only once!
wallpaper sucks! I helped Amber remove a whole bunch a couple months ago. I feel your pain. I like the red wall. Good luck with all the projects!
I'm not big on red walls, but I've seen a few that work. From what I can see, it looks like it goes well with your stuff, so it could work. Even if just for short term. Tackle the wallpaper first (wish I could help!).
Your kitty has one fantastic name.
