Leah. Almost 5. Loved every second of this.

Asher. Almost 4. Didnt know what to think until Aunt Summer kept the jokes a comin.

Maya. 19 months. Hated every minute except the part when candy was thrown at her.

Group shots were few and far between. But we managed.

Things i love...

1. flips crackers- half pretzel half cracker. all yum.
2. dear friends- and that includes all yall
3. cinnaberry air freshener- reminds me of my white buick and the carwash's disgusting vacuum i would so earnestly use once a week to stay stylin back in the day.
4. foaming window cleaners.
   
5. listening to conversation of children- at night as they lay in bed.
6. SYTYCD- wow.
   
7. paul- well of course.
   
8. paul mitchell hairspray freeze and shine- smells like watermelon.
   
9. chocolate banana milkshakes- from Iceberg.
   
10. yellow leaves in the sunshine- in the fall.
    
11. facebook- a tad too much.
    
12. cowboy hats- on little lads.
    
13. sonicare toothbrushes- makes it feel like I dont have to floss.
    
14. nap time- for all.
    
15. talking like snoop dog- ma nizzle.
    
16. anything with oatmeal.
17. pecans- you shell.
    
18. lilacs- in spring.
    
19. a hair cut- when you NEED one.
    
20. white chocolate popcorn- add in kits kats.
    
21. God- the all mighty.
    
22. glee- on Fox.
    
23. snail mail- with moolah.
    
24. cheap gasoline- gone.
    
25. snow globes- with glitter.
    
26. 2 brown eyed and 1 blue eyed kids- mine.
27. clean linens- that smell like bleach.

Ode to Today

Because it was a wonderful day.

Because there were Happy meals. Popcorn balls. Races around the block. Swimsuits. Tennis shoes. Bare feet.

Because I(am starting to) love this street I call home.

Because neighbors {say they} missed the screams, yelling, laughter, naked babes in the street, and were happy to see these faces make their daily rounds once again.

Because of today....I put this out of mind and enjoyed the 70 degree sunshine...and even the spiders.
