Baby M.

We went to the Doctor today. Super fun with 3 kids let me tell you. Its a good thing I had an old bag of crumbly tortilla chips at the bottom of my purse, those entertained for about 4 minutes. I didnt catch much about the growth of Baby M. But I do know that she is my chubster coming in at 13.5 pounds. She also giggled for me this morning. So darling. I'll admit that I am not a fan of the newborn stage. I selfishly say they are too much work on so little sleep, but my darling chubby is growing so fast and I find myself missing it a bit. Good thing I know the secret to making more......down the road of course....the really long road.

diggity, diggity, dang.

Our afternoon was spent at the Botanical Gardens down the road. I often go there to go walking in the mornings but it was Pauls first time going. He loved it. I cant believe how beautiful it is there in the middle of this old, grey, dirty city. Dang its pretty.

Lately, Leah has been into the movie Mulan. She likes to pull up her hair into the Mulan do, always saying how much she loves her hair. But today she told me she is going to cut all her hair off just like Ping, with a pocket knife. Dang.
I haven't taken many pictures of baby M. lately. But she is so very fat and cute. Dang cute. She is usually in my arms while I'm snapping pics, or cooped up in her stroller asleep. And heaven forbid I wake a sleeping baby.

Asher was scribbling on his magna-doodle tonight and telling me a 2 year old's story when this took place. Daddy was to blame, but really he hears it from me. Dang. I'll work on that.

I mean....really!

After getting home from the grocery store and trying to find a place in the freezer for my 2 new cartons, I realized tonight that I have an addiction. Ice cream. Here's the weird part, I like buying it better than eating it. I'm not so much a fan anymore but I CAN NOT pass up a good deal and ice cream is ALWAYS on sale.
And I wonder why its been so hard to lose this baby weight....duh. So Paul, this is an awakening moment for me, no more ice cream till December yes? Someone come and take this from my home please. Maybe I should post them on Craigslist...;) no but for real....

Julie Sandberg soon to be Thomas does mine. She is excellent. No, she is better than excellent, she is leave your current stylist worthy. No joke. And if you are lucky enough to live in the St. George area (that of which Im not), and need a good color or cut, then check her out!

In fact, I am seriously thinking about flying her out to make me pretty again......I'll spare you the ugly pictures this time :)

This fine day

We spent the morning at a little picture perfect farm in Chesapeake picking scrumptious strawberries and fresh peas. Leah was a champ and filled her bucket first,then ran off to play in the mud. Asher wasn't liking it so much since he heard me say "Man I hope there aren't snakes in here" when we drove up, so he thought anything that moved was one.

Maya was a happy cute gal all the while showing off her huge flower headband Leah insisted she wear. She is getting big and fun and cute and spoiled.

We got home and this lovely machine greeted us at my doorstep. Ive been dropping HUGE hints to whomever would listen that Paul should gift me with one of these being the mother of his children and all. He said if I make coconut shrimp whenever he wants then he'd think about it. Done dear and thank you.

So today has been mucho better than the last few. The picture speaks for itself, and I am feeling and looking mucho better too. word to the wise....dont maximize this picture, you'll wish you hadnt :)

this new leaf of mine.

I'm making a change. Well, I'm starting to change. Lets just face the facts, I'm getting older and I cant exactly eat a pink sugar cookie , soggy fries, and a Pepsi for lunch anymore like I did everyday of middle school life. Oh the times.... Anyway, Paul and I have decided to become "healthier", As Tim would say, "Eat a few more salads, and not stay up so late..." Don't get me wrong, I will still be adding bacon to my salads, but we will be eating better. In my early journey to find tasty things to eat and to still be healthy I thought I would share a few with you...

Nutrilite Chocolate Nut Roll. I am NOT kidding when I say this is THE BEST energy bar Paul or I have ever eaten. Its almost better than a Snickers (and I love Snickers, almond ones to be exact.) Its chewy, melty, crispy and yummy. The vanilla pretzel and peanut butter pretzel bars are excellent as well. They are a little pricey but I think well worth it.

Nutrilite Fruji Bar. This bar is your veggies and fruits for the day. Get out! I was a little apprehensive to try this because of the way it looked (concentrated fruits and veggies don't look so pretty), so I handed a piece to Asher to see his reaction and he gobbled it up. It tastes like a fruit roll-up but has a texture like a fig newton. I'm lovin em. So do my kids.

In addition to these, I have tried a few other products and have been happy over all. Click here to see where I ordered these from. If you like energy drinks (ahem, mother) from what I hear, they have awesome ones. I just don't drink them, diet coke works good for me. Although, that needs to stop....maybe.

Let us get LOST

I spent the morning catching up on the 3 episodes of LOST that I missed. I hate that it comes on at 10 pm out here, I never can stay up anymore to watch it and I still haven't invested in TiVo....probably never will until its included in regular cable.

That being said, I have many questions/theories going through my brain.....

....I'm not liking all the dang violence. Showing people getting shot in the head, and cut throats, yuck.

....I am liking Sawyers use of "Son of a b****", and all the other cuss words coming out of his mouth. It cracks me up. I'm pretty sure all of his lines are cuss words now. Funny. Next episode, I am going to count how many times he swears with that stern forhead of his.

....I still don't know what to think of Juliet, good or bad?

....I think Hurley is right, they are dead, everyone else stayed on the island somehow, but how?

....I'm not liking how Claire just abandoned her baby with that sly look in her eye...hum.

....I was glad to see that dark eyed "other" come back into the picture. Ive been wondering about him.

....I'm not sure what to think about Ben "summoning" that weird black smoke. Can he control it somehow? Im just not sure what to think about Ben period.

....I don't like how Sayeed has become somewhat of a mercenary in flash forwards.

....I did thoroughly enjoy the peach pie ice cream I ate all morning while watching it. :)

2 months, 7 years.

We blessed Baby M. today. Due to 2 VERY unruly children at the most inconvenient time....I didn't get to hear much of it as I was dragging them out into the hall. Baby M. is lucky to have a dad so great. And the 2 unrulys are lucky to be alive. Wink. Forgive my dark eye circles and lack of hi-lights...I know I need some work.
I think we have aged beautifully. Don't ya think? Tomorrow we hit the 7 year mark! Time has done us well. I love my deary Paul so much. Too stinking bad he has to be on the boat till Tuesday.
We love this little beauty so much. I just love it when they start to show their personalities. 2 months went by so fast. I think we will call her cabbage patch kid since her cheeks are so kissable.

Happy Birthday to my beautiful, wonderful, hilarious (closet Red Bull drinker) mother!!!! She is the best in the world! I cant wait to come and spend some time in your new casa! But will you get your bum out here and see us first?!!!!
