Paul was quite the proud father a few days ago when Asher came home with this pheasant. Leah was not a proud sister with what she saw at all, as she is destined to be a future member of PETA...seriously.
We headed to Kansas City (ilovekansascity) for a few days before Thanksgiving to live it up with the Hagen's. There was lots of great food, shopping, cousins having a ball, a night at the Great Wolf Lodge, and the best "If you dare" game played of all time thanks to Jelly Belly and these certain beans. Best $1.99 you will ever spend....seriously.
Paul worked on Thanksgiving so the kids and I stayed in pajamas, ate hot dogs and watched Christmas movies all day. It was awesome....seriously. Ive come to terms with the fact that Maya is growing up. Dang it. She is now old enough to kindly excuse herself to poop in a corner of a tent with out making a scene :)
Today I put away her crib, actually I put away a way to small pack and play she had been sleeping in since we moved and set up her bed. Wish me luck in the nap/nighttime area as we now have no limits or rails holding her in...seriously.

House update: I have no before picture but trust me, you would have vomited. Our room is an upstairs, crazy walled, very small, crevice in the house. Before it was black and white race car stripes and now....slowly it is turning into what it needs to be, appealing. All we need is new carpet, wicker storage and one billion more dollars....seriously.
