Im serious

Paul was quite the proud father a few days ago when Asher came home with this pheasant. Leah was not a proud sister with what she saw at all, as she is destined to be a future member of PETA...seriously.
We headed to Kansas City (ilovekansascity) for a few days before Thanksgiving to live it up with the Hagen's. There was lots of great food, shopping, cousins having a ball, a night at the Great Wolf Lodge, and the best "If you dare" game played of all time thanks to Jelly Belly and these certain beans. Best $1.99 you will ever spend....seriously.
Paul worked on Thanksgiving so the kids and I stayed in pajamas, ate hot dogs and watched Christmas movies all day. It was awesome....seriously.
Ive come to terms with the fact that Maya is growing up. Dang it. She is now old enough to kindly excuse herself to poop in a corner of a tent with out making a scene :)
Today I put away her crib, actually I put away a way to small pack and play she had been sleeping in since we moved and set up her bed. Wish me luck in the nap/nighttime area as we now have no limits or rails holding her in...seriously.
House update: I have no before picture but trust me, you would have vomited. Our room is an upstairs, crazy walled, very small, crevice in the house. Before it was black and white race car stripes and now....slowly it is turning into what it needs to be, appealing. All we need is new carpet, wicker storage and one billion more dollars....seriously.

a wrecking ball post

Miss Maya D. 20 months. Craziest little wart you will ever meet.
Keeps me on my feet, cleaning up pee, crumbs, spilled beverages, dog food, cat litter, mac makeup she so kindly digs out with her fingers, and digging numerous items out of the toilet.
Loves: shoes, dad, outside, high tailing it down the street, forks, mascara, string cheese, binkys, being fearless, high heels, her lifeline-a smelly old bunny, diet coke, pushing around her potty chair, painting toe nails, the cat, smearing chocolate up the stairs, slamming doors, the computer, and drawing.
Hates: brushing her teeth, bread, fixing her hair, when people leave, sleeping in, when diet coke runs out, hearing no, staying in the kitchen to eat, and the mean dog next door.

unknown history

Photo booth unfortunately and unknowingly recorded the journey of my hair in the last 18 months. From blond to brown to yellow to gone to now. Sheesh. Please people, learn from me. I, obviously never will, as I just spent 80 bucks for bleach again. Shizzle, let your hair be.

Caged Danger

Wild exotic animals- while very beautiful- are extremely dangerous and need to be kept in cages
AT ALL TIMES
Don't be fooled by their pretty looks, or loving affectionate nature toward their young
Just listen to their growls. It should remind you of their capabilities.

(p.s. my voice is so annoying)

Apologies, I cursed.

I took a little outing today-to Omaha. We found a mall and the Cheesecake Factory. Leah got her ears pierced(I laughed my head off because of this flaw ) but most importantly, I met and devoured the new love of my life.
Stephanies Red Velvet Cheesecake.
Oh-My-Hell it is so good.
