"Ill stop this damn car right now and leave you on the side of the road!!!"
Umm me. Plenty of times when I was younger.
Raise your hand if you as a parent have yourself spoken those same exact words to your dear sweet never do anything wrong chitlens.....
So we are in Nebraska now. Our house closed on Friday and the kids and I flew out early that morning in time for my 450 signatures on non important papers. We are still in the great motel for a few more days to make sure every inch gets cleaned before our junk gets moved in. Which means we are BORED out of our minds. Which means cranky kids, mean moms, filthy rooms, trips to sonic and lots of drives.
As we were on our Sunday drive down by the river Leah was out of control. I dont remember what it was about...something along the lines of I want more candy, or let me suck on Mayas binky (which got thrown out the window) I littered, I feel bad about it. Anyhoo...
Paul stopped sudden, flung open the door and went straight for Leah, who knew it was coming. She was already in the front seat clinging to my neck. She was scared out of her mind. Asher was in the back screaming "Dont touch Leah!" (they are very protective), Maya wasnt understanding any of it with her cute grin, and me? I was hysterically laughing my guts out. And that is where my flaw lies....
I laugh at things that shouldnt be funny. Like if a kid biffs it bad, a really sobby testimony, a dad trying to punish a child ,people yelling, kids getting shots....f-u-n-n-y.

I think I may need some help with this flaw. In no way is some of this the least bit nice/normal/thoughtful.
I need a little laughter in my life right now though. Or else I might go crazy. For real.

Love it. Love you. Seriously, a breath of fresh air.
Too funny! What a little flaw! Live it! Love it!
I do the same thing. Eric was all excited about this new show on this summer called Wipe Out (or something like that) cuz he knows I think it's freaking hilarious when people get hurt. Sounds great coming from a nurse, eh?
I agree with Krystal. One of our favorite things (and I quote) is "Uproarious laughter that must be forcibly squelched due to its inappropriateness in a situation." Didn't Elder Wirthlin recently give a talk telling us to laugh more? So maybe it's not really a flaw but a gift. :) By the way, one time my mom threatened me with that, and to really SHOW HER WHO'S BOSS, I got out of that car, marched across the street and walked the rest of the way home (and I took a very hidden path so she would worry when she couldn't find me.) It took me about an hour and a half. I'm still proud of that.
LOL - Too funny! I too have this flaw. I know if I ever went to bootcamp (like that would ever happen) I would get in trouble for laughing if ever they got in my face. Not out of disrespect, it's cuz I can't help it!!
I definitely laugh at the most inappropriate times. It isn't even funny...well, it is. But you know what I mean.
You are too funny Jaesi. I think our kids must be related somehow, they sound exactly like mine! Good luck getting moved in--happy day!
I've been there before... where the only way to cope is to laugh. And then that song starts running through my head: "They're coming to take me away, ha ha...."
I hope that house gets sparkly clean in no time!
I am THE ABSOLUTE worst at this! I feel horrible the majority of the time because I really shouldnt be laughing most the time. Oh well....Its kinda funny.
YEAH! for your very own house!
LOL! Sometimes you just have to laugh or you are going to cry or yell instead! I would like to be invited to your blog my email is bakegoodz@gmail.com. Thanks!!!
oh and sonic is giving away free root beer floats on wednesday.
I miss you! YOu are sooo close to being in your new house! How exciting.
I'm laughing at you right now...
I'm going to look into the drive to your house.
Just so you know I'm ticked. . . . you said you downloaded the pics I took with your memory card. . . and you didn't!!!!
so I think it is hillarious when people trip and fall...gut rolling laughter right there...makes me want to laugh just thinking of it... hee hee ...
I get it from my mom though...she use to sit in a building at BYU that had a good view of people rounding the corner. She would just sit and laugh at the people who would slip and fall when hurrying to their next class - I so want to do that!
It's sick I know, but I laugh and then if the person isn't hurt I laugh harder.

I laugh at stupid people. And nothing is funnier to me then when someone walks into a screen/glass door.
I hope you can get out of that awesome motel soon. When my family moved to MN we ended up having to wait an extra month for our house to close. 7 people and two dogs stuffed into a one bedroom apartment for 43 days. It was hellish.
put me on your list...

that is a trait i definitely do not posess. laugh on:)
miss you.
Speaking of buying a house. We find out Monday if our offer will go through. We got pics with the sold sign and everything. Check it out.
Awwww. Poor Leah. :( I laugh at non-funny things too. I consider it a blessing.
13 hours 21 minutes...852.01 miles from my house to Auburn.
That's no flaw-- just how you handle things. Oh man hope you get in that house quick. We sure got cranky right before we were FINALLY able to move in.
If you go private, add me! savannahfoisy@hotmail.com. You are so funny by the way. I heard that threat all the time too!
man that reminds me of a time we were doing sealings in the temple and the poor old very old man could not pronounce our last name and it was seriously hilarious.....I could not stop laughing...how bad is that..:/
I say, hey if you don't quit yelling, i'm calling the police. You can use your big boy voice! Seriously, try using the word POLICE! It has changed my parenting LIFE!:)
I have the same flaw. At least it doesn't get me in as much trouble now as it did when I was a kid. :)
