Who..... ate half a bag of marshmallows and threw the rest down the stairs this morning while I was showering? That would be Asher. Who opened it for him? That would be Leah.
What....happens when 2 young kids decide to close the bathroom door and lock it? The toilet gets clogged with wet wipes and they play in the water, then dump all the hand soap out for bubbles.
When.....will I get a grip on laundry? better yet, When will I enjoy putting the clothes away?
Oh yes, and when will I always clean the lint vent out? Probably never.
Where....do I look forward to going 2 times a week by myself? The grocery store. Even the dreaded Walmart.
Why.....do kids think they can eat sweets all day everyday? Because their father fed them donuts for lunch yesterday.
How....do I fit 3 car seats, 3 children and a double stroller into an already too small van? I dont. Wont work.

around the house
The kids got quite the loot for Easter. I guess I was feeling rich (ha) the day I helped the Easter Bunny in shopping. Their favorite by far were these umbrellas. Asher got a spider man one but they decided to switch with him liking pink and all.
Once again, Asher is showing his softer side and freaked out when he didn't get a hat like Leah's. Leah traded him a bag a peeps for the hat and all were happy.
Here is my love bug. She is as good as she is cute. I hope she will always just go with the flow. I have been a mother of 3 for 16 days now and I am proud to say that I haven't cried, or cussed once! Yes, I do cuss. Not much but enough that my kids know to correct me. Ive got to do something about that. In this short 16 days I have learned that it doesn't matter if the floors aren't clean, and you have grilled cheese 3 nights in a row. They still love you, no matter what.

chicken thighs?
Tonight as I was doing this and that I took some chicken thighs out of the freezer to thaw for tomorrow. About 20 minutes later I came back to the kitchen to fix dinner and found Leah around the corner licking the frost off of the package. Rather than being worried, I started busting up at what I found! I startled Leah and she ran away embarrassed.
Kids are so hilarious. Those little frosty crystals just looked so appetizing to her. I remember as a kid hiding under the table and eating the brick of cream cheese. I also remember getting the Crisco and climbing up on the cupboard to find the sugar jar so I could dip my Crisco-ed fingers in.
What creative little minds. Now I realize that I need to be careful. But honestly I thought it was pretty clever, since she had just been eating chips and probably was thirsty. :)

Name Game
Since Maya arrived, the question of names has been #1. Whats her name? Whats her middle name? Where did it come from? I love names. I thinks its fascinating that a human can fit so truly the name it was blessed with. Out of the millions that are out there, we get one that fits us so well.
So here is my question to all of you, What is your name? Middle name? And where did it come from? Same goes for your children and spouses. I would love to hear how "you" came about.
Steven Paul. Not many people know that Paul's first name is Steven after his dad. In college and in the military people call him Steven and he doesn't mind it. But to me, Paul is Paul.
Jaesi Lee. I was named after a little girl in my aunts pre-school. My middle name just sounded good with Jaesi, so my mother says.
Leah Giselle. Forever I wanted a Jennah. Paul wanted an Anna. One night in bed we were talking of names and I mentioned Leah. Leah it was. Giselle comes from Paul. Who has a fascination with the beautiful model Gisele Bundchen. It took me a long while to get used to it. Leah absolutely loves her middle name and is quick to add it in when asked her name.
Joseph Asher. Joseph is for my Grandpa, Paul's Grandpa and Joseph Smith. Asher ties in with Leah from the bible and the instant I heard it I loved it.
Maya Deon. Since we had Leah we always mentioned a sister named Maya. Deon is Paul Grandma on his mothers side. I love the way is sounds.
So far, the names I have graced my children with fit them perfect-o. I love the name game.

Day 3
Ive sent my kids off the to mall with there dad and Nana to ride to choo choo train so its just me and Baby M. for a few hours. So nice. Night #1 was terrible. I cried and cried. Night #2 was much much better. I think I can do this. Maya is (knock on wood) going to be a great babe. She eats well, leaving my boobs raw, poops and pees regularly, already ruining a very cute outfit, and takes that blessed binky great. I love her so much, even when I am clenching in pain when she latches on, there is nothing better than smelling her, and kissing her. What a love bug. Tomorrow is the big day for Lyndsi and Nate. Wishing you well! Have a great day and think of me in the sealing room. Wish I was there. Kisses.

Introducing....
Maya Deon Melessa. Born March 10th 2008, 646 pm. 7 lbs 8 oz. 21 inches.
I couldnt have asked for a better birth. Monday morning I started having regular contractions and thought it best to go to the hospital. Paul came home from work, we took the kids to the neighbors and off we went. I was about a 6 when we got there so they admitted me, gave me my epidural and I was a happy happy gal. I rested and waited for the mid-wife to come and about 630 pm we got the ball rolling.
I pushed about 3 times and she was here. We just got home so real life begins....Sooo happy to have her here! She is a good mix of Leah and Asher when they were babes....not that they arent still....I have 3!!!

The big 2
Happy Birthday Asher! We pretty much think you are the very best around! I must have really tricked someone up above to let me be your mom cause you are one of a kind. We love you so much.
We have been talking about turning 2 for a few days and all Asher wants is a tractor and a pink cake. So pink it is....kisses.

Conversation with a furniture doctor and booger eater....
This conversation took place one evening after dinner. Notice what Asher decided to have for dessert. I have taught them well. Although I have evidence of Leah saying what she wants to be when she grows up....she will have to take care of me forever now, being a furniture doctor and all.
Life just keeps moving around here. I was damn sick last week and finally got it resolved with an antibiotic and inhaler. Gracias for Instacare being open on Sundays. We cant wait for Baby M to be here. Soon soon soon I will be able to hold my pee longer than 20 minutes and not feel like an itchy sausage. Ive swollen everywhere and cant sleep because I itch! But that newborn smell is sure to make it all worth it. Cant wait. Or can I?
