Day 3

Ive sent my kids off the to mall with there dad and Nana to ride to choo choo train so its just me and Baby M. for a few hours. So nice. Night #1 was terrible. I cried and cried. Night #2 was much much better. I think I can do this. Maya is (knock on wood) going to be a great babe. She eats well, leaving my boobs raw, poops and pees regularly, already ruining a very cute outfit, and takes that blessed binky great. I love her so much, even when I am clenching in pain when she latches on, there is nothing better than smelling her, and kissing her. What a love bug. Tomorrow is the big day for Lyndsi and Nate. Wishing you well! Have a great day and think of me in the sealing room. Wish I was there. Kisses.

Oh, how I feel your pain! My boobs only just barely stopped hurting like a week or two ago. In the beginning, it seriously made me cry everytime I fed Jonas! In fact, I pumped and fed him a bottle for a food two weeks cause it hurt so bad!

Good luck adjusting to three kids!

What a cute little girl! If you are cracked and sore try using regular A&D ointment between feeding it works great! Just wash off good before you nurse :). Good luck!

She is perfect! I just love her! My favorite smell in the whole world is new babies that have just gotten a bath. You are such a great mom and she is so lucky to be in your awesome family!

She's beautiful just like her Momma! And worse for me than the latching on was the afterpains...ouch!

Emily just came in and asked who the baby was. I clicked on it to enlarge it and she said, "Oohh, she's pretty." She's definitely got that right. I wish I could hold her!

She is adorable!!! I love all her dark hair I hope that she keeps it, my baby's fell out soon after she was born. I am so happy to see that everything went well with you, I hope that the breast feed starts to be less painful!

It doesn't matter if you are still breastfeeding or not - if someone talks about those first few days of milk coming in, and the first time latching on...everyone can feel your pain. That pain can come back just thinking about it. But it is worth it in the long run.

Erin said...

OUCH!!! I totally know what you are talking about, it's so hard at first with all the new-ness (and hormones)! But... it gets better and then you just love it! Good luck...

Oh my gosh Jaesi...she is sooo darling! I love all the hair...ohh how I still remember all too well the "latching on" pain that still even thinking about it makes my toes curl! Good luck with that! Can you believe that you are a fam of 5 now! Yay for baby M! She is amazing..and so are you mama!

Beautiful. I love her dark hair. I am thrilled everything went so well for you and hope that the goodness continues. Keep me updated on what its like mothering three kids at a time. Fortunately, mine are a tad bit older than yours....that can be good or bad, I guess.

WAY TO ADD YOUR GREAT GENES TO THE WORLD!

I finally had a chance to log onto your blog (great idea, by the way, I may just take the idea and run with it... stay tuned ;)

Grandpa Wayne always said, "It's all in the breeding." He'd be proud as you're definitely proving his theory to be correct. Sweet li'l Maya is an absolute princess! Gawrgess, gawrgess, Grandma 'Priel would always say (yes, yes, I'm missing them... that always happens after a family gathering).

We missed you at the wedding (which was beautiful). Crazy and a little scary that Nate looks like Uncle Glen's family, most specifically Aaron! Lyndsi seemed to be on cloud 9. We talked about you a lot.. good things I assure. Love and miss you, give kids kisses and hope to see you soon! XOXOXO
