Is this the end?

Only of 2007. This year flew by. The good, the bad, the fun, the not so fun, its all in the past now. I am excited for whats to come in the year ahead.
We start by flying back to Virginia on Friday. I am very sad and happy at the same time. Saying goodbyes to everyone is the worst part. But once that is over with and I have balled my eyes out at the airport things get better...much better. Our own beds, washer and dryer, couches to lounge, blankets to snuggle, I get happy thinking about it.
Thank you to all of our family who housed us so nicely, watched our kids, loved us (me) when I was a complete witch. I love you all.
Thank you to all of our friends, seeing your beautiful faces and gorgeous kids, whether it be in person or on the computer, I love you all too.

Our time in Utah is almost over....I am just about to head to Cafe Rio for a chicken salad, shop for wedding dresses with my sisters, to the UPS store to send 2 huge boxes of clothes and toys home, and pack pack pack.
Happy New Year! I know mine will be.

My boyfriend's back....

We have our dad back! Life is great and once again I am reminded that I married the most perfect man around! For me anyway. Leah and Asher wont let him out of their sight and I am on the back burner right now....fine by me for a little while at least.

Wishing you all a very MERRY CHRISTMAS! Spend as much time with your families as you can, since families are where its at!!!
Love you all.

So much time, so little to do....

"Wait, scratch that, reverse it." ~Willy Wonka.

3 more days....3 MORE DAYS! I guess I will be even more excited tomorrow and the next.
The U.S.S. Enterprise has made it to U.S. shores. Paul called me yesterday from Florida as they had pulled in to drop the air wing off and pick up 1500 family and friends of the sailors to ride the rest of the way home to VA. They do what is called a Tiger Cruise on the last bits of the deployment where each sailor can have someone come out and get the "real" Navy experience.
Yuck. No thanks. I wouldn't want to go near a boat that has been in the heat of the Persian Gulf with out air conditioning for 5 months and 5,000 smelly sailors! He gets home on Wednesday morning and then flys out here Thursday morning. We'll spend 2 weeks over the Holidays and head back to Norfolk...very bittersweet.

Until then, here is a list of what needs to be accomplished:
-Finish Christmas shopping so I can relax when Papa gets here....done
-Organize all of my accumulated junk to send home....not done
-Dr. appointment....not done
-Blood work....not done
-Re-register the van in VA....done
-Book a hotel....done
-Oil change...not done
-Purchase a scantily clad negligee...ugh not done
-Wax my upper lip, under arms, and other unmentionable areas.....not done
-Hair cut...not done
-Hair color...not done

I best be gettin my lazy behind off this chair and get to work!

Leah turns Threeah.

I wasn't going to post all these pics of Leah but they were too hard to narrow down. I love this little being. (Even though sometimes I want to sale her). Thinking back to 3 years ago makes my heart warm. She is my favorite little miss.
Happy Birthday Leah. I wouldn't want you any other way. Thanks for being the best daughter, sister, friend, cook, imagineer, hair doer, etc... around! Just remember I gave you Island Barbie and Prince Antonio for your birthday....so don't keep asking Santa for it.....besos.

Cowboys and Vegas

Here is how it went;
2 nights at Tahiti Village...Surprisingly a very nice hotel for what we paid.
1 day full of team roping....Way to go dad! It is so fun to watch him at what he loves.
3 hours at the factory stores....pregnant Jaesi's and shopping don't mix.
2 hours at Cowboy Christmas Expo...where Asher was outfitted in his new cowboy gear.
2 lovebirds......and quite a bit of time in the jacuzzi at the hotel (we kept an eye on them;)
500+ beautiful horses....I love to see them in the stalls having conversations and watching everything.
2,795 wrangler butts....when the NFR hits town, that's all you see.
4 Cheeseburgers, 4 french fries, 4 sodas, 1 strawberry and 1 chocolate shake...In &Out, I didn't eat it all but I probably could have.
It was a great weekend. I was the usual pregnant party pooper and Grinch, but Leah has already informed me that I was the Grinch for Christmas anyway.

Will you?....Yes!!!

Hooray! A BIG CONGRATS to my sister Lyndsi who is engaged to Nate Clements!!! We are sooooooo excited for this! Nate is Melissa (Clements) Gladwells younger brother, and for years we have said how awesome it would be if one of our siblings got married. Im pretty sure Melissa and I might be just as happy as Nate and Lyndsi. Wedding plans are set for March! After a 6 year wedding dry spell in our family we CANT WAIT! They are such a cute couple and I especially love how Nate is about 2 heads taller than Lyndsi. :)
