A week of groceries around the world

Makes me think twice about my double stuff Oreos....

So interesting isnt it! My grocery list is feeling pretty guilty....is yours?

Love that book. It really puts things into perspective, both comparing the amounts spent and the amount of fresh fruits, veggies, processed foods, etc.

There is another interesting book by the same guy, Material World, where he takes a photo of the family outside in front of their home with all of their possessions. One of my favorites as a kid. So fascinating to see how other people live.

i wish that i had $341 bucks to spend a WEEK on groceries! think of the food storage you'd have! (or ice cream...which ever) lol

Yes, I too recommend that book Material World. I loved looking at it as a kid too!

$500 a week on food? Come on! If I had that much I'd go out a lot more. Also, it seems the less money someone has the more fresh food they eat...not to mention rice and beans because it goes far and fills your belly.
