a few things...

1. Sorry to all you Team Mitters. (most of our fam) That bites.

2. I went to the doctor yesterday. Turns out they lost my records for all of my lab work in transition from Utah to here. So lucky me gets to go and get it all redone in the morning...including the lovely glucose screen that I thought I dodged out on. Do you think that the marshmellows, butter mints, milkey ways, and waffles that I have eaten today will effect it? ;) I CANT STOP! I LOVE SUGAR! ...dont worry I ate broccoli for lunch to counter act it all...

3. I made THE best chicken pot pie last night for dinner. Its very similar to Jameys but I tailored it to my liking....
1 pack of pre cooked chicken cubes
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of potato soup
1 cup steamed carrots
2 cups steamed broccoli
1 can of petite corn
salt, pepper, garlic powder
1/2 cup velveeta cubes cut small
Mix all together and bake in refridgerated pie crusts on 400 degrees for 30-40 minutes till golden.
Probably not the healthiest version on the block, but dang it was good.

4. If you would like to see a CUTE video clip, head over to my sis Kimis blog and watch it. I miss Utah! p.s. leave her a comment...she'll feel cool :)

5. One more shout out to Craigslist...I know boring...but I have now purchased everything I need for Baby M. with the last being a Ocean Wonders swing for 20 bucks. Oh I love it so.

6. Is anyone else having trouble using the spell check on here? Or am I just a retard...cause it wont work for me.

7. Anyone have any good ways to keep smelly smells out of my closets? Let me explain...
Paul smells...okay he doesn't smell...his clothes do. But it isnt his fault. If he is on the boat any good amount of time (which was constantly the last 3 years) his clothes REEK! Imagine oil, diesel, sweat, grime, dirt and so on and so on. Laundry is shared by the thousands and the ways they do it are to bag it up in laundry bags with holes and throw it in. We have gone through a ton of clothes that just have to be thrown away when he gets home. The picture below is a picture of one of his white tops that was brand new when he took it on deployment, and a brand new one after. Gross. And we all know that g's arent cheap! But the smell lingers....lingers lingers. Even when the clothes are long gone...so any advice?

Okay the end.

I have totally been having probs with spell check!!! I was beginning to think that it was just me! Glad to hear I don't have issues (in the area at least!) Way to go on the swing! I wish that was all that mine cost! I think you need to post some more prego pics since I can't see you in person. I am sure you look darling. Just curious-what does baby M stand for?

You are so cute. I love your recap of your day on the military base. I'm sure you run into quite an array of interesting people. How much longer do you have before baby #3 comes out?

Have you tried Oxiclean? Costco has it. I think it helps, also I put yummy smelling fabric softner in with my loads to help them smell good.
I think blogger is having problems, I can't spell check either!

Maya Melessa...SOOOOOOO CUTE!!

As far as the clothes...if none of that stuff gets it out, maybe you'll have to throw out all the clothes and splurge and start over.

As far as the closet smell, I've had some success with odor neutralizers, as long as you have one that like, continuously sprays and stuff. What about huge box of baking soda in the closet? :)

Good job with craigslist! It's keeping me busy selling everything, but I love seeing that cash envelope fatten up.

I was going to say baking soda too. You totally could put some in an inconspicuous area in your closet. Works in the fridge, right?

You can also put baking soda in your laundry to help it clean better. Vinegar also does the trick. I add about 1/4 c baking soda in with my detergent and then 1/4 cup vinegar in with my rinse cycle. The baking soda cleans, the vinegar sets colors, brightens, and deoderizes. And you can't smell it, promise!

I am having troubles with spell check as well.. perhaps you've noticed?
I love the name Maya, good choice!

As for the laundry.. My Grandfather worked for Boeing & always smelled of oil and diesel. My Grandmother would take a big giant pot and boil his G's. She'd add bleach & baking soda & just kept stirring. I know it sounds crazy but it worked pretty good. Mind you this was a good 30 years ago so I am sure they've come up with a better idea but it's worth a shot. I know I've used the method to get out set in stains before and it worked, who knows!?

Good luck on the glucose test! I always freaked about that test, I didn't want to be denied my sweets!

Good luck with the smell. Heaven knows I've dealt with stink. We bought those odor neutralizer things by Simple Human at Bed, Bath and Beyond. They are rechargable (by setting in the sun) and so far seemed to have helped with my odor problem.

I love the ALL fabric refresher and you can never go wrong with Febreeze(so many different scents)! You can also try putting dryer sheets in the closet or in the drawers that have the smelly clothes in them. Or Maybe try spraying Lysol too, something to kill the bacteria that is causing the smell. Don't forget to open windows so that you don't inhale all those lovely fumes! Love the name Maya so dang cute!!!

I'm so sorry your paper work got lost. That's the pits. You and Camie have quite the luck.

If you really find a trick to keeping the brightness of whites do a major post.

Otherwise I like the suggestion from emma. It sounds like her Grandmother knew what she was doing.

thanks ladies. I hadnt thought of Lysol and just putting baking soda in the closets.
Maybe I should boil his clothes.
No...too much work......
