First grade Secrets

Leah has a diary.

Its a cute whimsical notebook that she got in her stocking last Christmas.
On the pages you can find drawings from movies...
The star from Tangled.
An occasional page of scribble when Maya has found it and the opportune moment.
A dragon and sword from Eragon.

But if you keep flipping pages

You get to the juicy stuff...

Who she loves...
What she steals... (gah!)
At least she has a conscience :)
Exactly what I would have written in 1987.
This one is a bit weird, but whatev :)
Boy lover
Who loves who
I love phonetic spelling...
I'm hoping she feels the worst about this one.

Are you sure she isn't Catholic? Because that reads like a 'what to say in the confessional'. So funny.

....she just might be Ash :)
will that boost her to the front of Jacksons girlfriend list one day?

BOOM! My heart just burst from the sweetness. Literally.

Oh to go back how simple life was then...and phonetic spelling. ;o)

This is too precious. But who did she "still dollers" from?

from her mothers purse :)
she always immediately admits to swiping dollars..we just need to work on her technique about earning them :)

Hands down: best post in history.

I cannot believe you, her mother, are READING her diary and SHARING her secrets so freely on your blog! I wish my boys were into writing their secrets in a notebook--Fact is, my only one who can write REFUSES to write so I'm going to have to wait a while...or just enjoy reading what yours writes.

I always threaten to do this to my daughter! ...but she's 12, so it would probably be a lot less funny...and she would never forgive me. :)

Oh my, that was just the smile that I needed. And if you don't mind, please leave your purse out where I can "still" some dollars and candy!

That is too cute and too funny. I love phonetic spelling also. Kids crack me up! Teachers must have a difficult time not laughing all the time.

Your picture at the top is gorgeous!!
