Im making eggs for breakfast.
Sunny side up.
And raisin bran.
Maya is no where to be found.
This is the 17th time in 3 days I have found her here.
Time for a childs lock on the front door.
or
A leash.
I say a leash.
Time for a childs lock on the front door.

I say a leash.
Excuse my morning breath.
And voice.
And the using of piss.
I hate that word.

7:30 a.m.!!! That little stinker! I can't believe how far you had to drive to find her. That's too funny.
But you said "piss" in such a nice way. What a little naughty.
haha that totally cracks me up! Kai used to leave the house all the time when he was that age. Thank goodness he just went next door to my neighbor Shari's house! We got the door alarm so whenever the front door opened it would go off really loud. I could hear it anywhere in the house, even if I was in the shower! Good Luck! She is adorable!
Is there a video that goes along with this? It isn't showing up for me.
Doesn't it make your heart stop?
I so wanted to see the rest of that scene! I bet you were way more pissed than you let on in the video. I always play nicer when I record.
Please no one teach Cameron how to get out of the house. My whole head of hair will turn grey!
Yeah... I kinda wanted to see the rest of the video! haha :)
Look at M go.. she made it far! Too funny!
Okay! It worked! That is so funny! At least you guys have sidewalks!
Auburn is a beauty! Maya is quite independent isn't she. She would have made it home just fine. At least you knew where she was headed!
Oh wow, that would FREAK me out!!! We had to keep a child lock on our front door for a couple of years so Luke wouldn't go out by himself. I'm glad we're past that stage with him, but Nathan can reach the knob now and I know it's only a matter of time...
This girl is going to be the death of me- and her. She has no sense of fear.
I did record scolding her- but its mostly me telling her no and her telling me no and not listening.
Luckily our neighborhood is pretty low key and she stays on the sidewalks- but you never know.
what a booger!
Um. We had to install a deadbolt that locked with a key INSIDE and out. Yes, we need a key to get out of our own home...so that James doesn't.
BTW- Your neighborhood is beautiful. I want to move there.
Annalia-
Oh no- I can already see the problems of getting locked inside. Im the girl that digs through dumpsters for the tossed keys she throws in. :)
Come buy my house! Ill give you a deal...!
That would freak me right out! :) Pat can help you install locks high on the door where she cannot reach them. He had to do that for his daughter while we were in Pocatello 'cause she has escapee children too. ;)
By the way, the girls were SO THRILLED about the clothes -- they have already tried everything on and divided it out and made plans for the first day of school.
Oh my goodness, give me a heart attack! Yes, good thing you live in Auburn.
She clearly wasn't lost. Why were you so pissed? HA HA. It's always that lingering doubt that WHAT IF, and then you end up on 20/20.
That totally felt like an episode of COPs.
LOL! That was so COPs. Who is this Colt guy he is funny! Anyway I'm sorry you have a runaway. Luke use to do that but not at 7am hate to say it, but I wouldn't be up to even know he left.
Annie- Just remember the name Colt Smith...in 20 years he will be president of something awesome.
dang! what a stinker! Shes such a cute girl tho...;)
you have a BEAUTIFUL neighborhood!! Looks gorgeous there...
That is sooooo freaking hilarious, sorry, but she is soooo darn (you wanted me to cuss, huh)....cute.
She is soooo cute. and I would be soooo mad, you are calm! I want Maya here with berk...we'll take her...since she will be the death of you...ship her here!
my first reaction was fear. If you lived here the gypsies would already have stolen her away. Good luck with that one!!! she is cute though and i love that picture of here in the previous post with her little butt cheeks...cute kids.
Gah! Gypsies?! Really?! Im intrigued...tell me more about how to get the gypsies to my neighborhood- I have a few chitlens to give away :)
hahahaha!!!! That's amazing how far away she was - that would freak me right out.
Totally could see my little dude doing something like that.
And I would maybe not mind as much if I lived in a beautiful neighborhood like yours - goodness!!!
Jaesi! Are you kidding me?! She makes me laugh so dang hard! So scary. My favorite part is when you roll up and she's like 'what?' Dying here. Give it up for A town!
xoxo
